Little Black Dress

I had so much fun making this dress.  The extra fun part was that it was my first full-body clothing for myself.  I copied a shirt-dress from Gap that I have and I think it turned out quite cute.
I put darts up the back of it, ribbon hemmed around the bottom, made gathered sleeve (love them!), and added the beads along the neck line.

The beads come that way on netting.  I found them and Joann and just hand sewed them on and trimmed off extra netting.

I DID end up wearing a black belt which made for a better choice.  And of coarse, paired it with a nice pair of stilettos.  Comfy, cute, and handmade.  Can't get much better than that!

Wedding: Clean-up Girls' Cafe Apron

After making the larger aprons for the wedding, we realized that the girl's who were on clean-up duty needed something as well.

If you want to make something cute and fast.  This is it.

How Scandalous! - 3rd Honeymoon Apron Set

So in honor of the honeymoon, before I fill you in on how fabulous the wedding was, I have a lingerie apron to show you.

I've decided this is one of my favorite gifts to give for a bridal shower.  It has some sparkle, a little risque-ness, it's an apron (love it), and it's fun to give (and get *wink *wink).

I use black ribbon for the neck and body ties so they are adjustable for all.
The cohort in crime gets this one!  I'm not sure what triggered the beginning of the man honeymoon apron (check out my Honeymoon Man-Thong), but I think it's rather humorous.  This one was a simple triangle with ribbon ties on the side.
Happy Honeymooning!!  :)

Princess Tutu

So a little reprieve from wedding stuff for a moment.

A while back I made this tutu for my little missy.  My sister had given her a tutu for Christmas and her everyday wearing had made it quite thin and scragly.

Easy cheesy revamp!

Zipper Flower Headbands

So the wedding is tomorrow and I have some things to show off before it all goes down.  Remember these zipper flowers?

There they are!  Oh, so cute and perfectly positioned.  If you want some ooh and aah over something, here it is.

And do you remember the Ribbon Flowers?  Here they are hot glued along the top of another black headband.  Such a cute little girl thing.

We are all getting excited for tomorrow.  It's going to be a beautiful day!

Button Earrings

These were just too cute to pass up!  I found this idea from Trey & Lucy and Just Another Day.  Just followed their tutorials for know how.  I love my new earrings.

P.S. I was totally jealous that Tanya had her sisters close to have a night of craftiness.  I loves sisters!  And you will notice that I have the same red ones - too cute.

P.S. I'm Loving Portland!

This is on our way to Powell's Books.  A-MAZ-ING.  Go there.  Now.
