Felt Gerber Daisy

Yes, here I am again with another felt flower.  I think I'm having too much fun!  I made another one as well, but I'm not completely satisfied with it (it needs a bag to go on), so you'll have to be happy with this one.  It is definitely the easiest of them all so far and only has two layers where the others have had three.

Here's your comparison photo.  Not perfect, but pretty good.

I wore it yesterday but didn't get a picture during daylight.  (They always turn out better then).  But, just to encourage you to work your own felt magic, I thought I'd post it in action.

And as a side note, have you ever made some of Giada De Laurentiis's food?  I have her book Everyday Pasta and love it.  I made her Spaghetti with Sauteed Onions and Marjoram.  My changes were to add zucchini and fresh basil as well.  I loved this because it's easy and really really good.  Red sauces are often too heavy for a warm day, so this was perfect.  What's in it: spaghetti, sauteed onions (2) and zucchinis (2), feta cheese, fresh basil, marjoram, citrus olive oil, and salt and pepper.  Easy, simple, and delicious.
